Patersons Stadium is located between Subiaco Road and Roberts Road, 5kms west of Perth's CBD. The oval is owned by the City of Subiaco, but leased and operated by The West Australian Football Commission (WAFC).
Patersons Stadium is the home ground to both Perth-based AFL teams - the West Coast Eagles and The Fremantle Football Club. Subiaco Football Club and the West Coast Eagles administrative, player and supporter bases are also housed at the oval.
The oval was redeveloped in March 2000 to incorporate a fully seated stadium with a capacity of 43,450.
Residential areas immediately surround Patersons Stadium however Subiaco's commercial centre is within 500m of the oval, providing a range of entertainment including, shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and movie theatres.
